Why I Went Holistic! The Natural Health Assurance
What’s the best way to improve your physical health, your
mental and emotional well being, and therefore the quality
of your life? defination for health by the WHO
Truth is, there isn’t just ONE way.
Good health isn’t just about being free from illness, it’s
about being fit, strong, vibrant, optimistic and energetic.
To that end there are things we need to do every day to
nourish and nurture ourselves.
Therefore optimal health requires a multifaceted approach.
Here’s why…
Making lasting changes is not always easy.
For example, it’s relatively easy to lose weight and
completely transform yourself within a matter of weeks however unless certain lifestyle factors are addressed,
more than likely you will regain the weight.
Similarly, if you have a chronic health condition you can
take medication to suppress the symptoms, OR you can
address the reason (s) the health condition may have
manifested in the first place.
Otherwise we’re only taking a ‘quick fix’ approach and not
really addressing the heart of the matter. (and therefore
not making lasting changes)
In my own case, I had reoccurring
headache and migraines. I would take medication to
keep symptoms at bay or when I had an acute attack.
Truth is, this might have continued indefinitely had I not been willing to look for the possible causes.
Thankfully I was able to identify certain triggers, I made modifications to my lifestyle, such as stress within a few weeks I had a
farewell to ALL medication. (Nutritional deficiencies, dairy products and a highly stressful job were identified as the
culprits)
Thankfully I haven’t had a single incidence of headache for over 2years…
Taking an holistic approach requires a willingness to
address and change certain lifestyle factors, however the
results are well worth it.
In the last 2 years I’ve studied a range of natural
therapies and I share these natural approaches with all of
my clients and friends. More often than not the health improvements
they achieve are nothing short of outstanding and in many
cases clients have been able to reverse a range of chronic
health conditions.
I provide my clients with access to a number of resources
including my body transformation nutrition plans and
recipes , ways to detox etc, and as I have developed
relationships with local and international holistic practitioners such as
natural therapists, herbalists, holistic dentists;homeopath;etc, I refer
my clients when appropriate.
My role as a personal trainer, natural medical practitioner specializing in homeopathy medicine and nutritional medicine is to transform you on the inside and out , and that’s why I take an holistic approach.
There’s no magic pill, however there are things you can do every day to boost your immune system, stay free of
illness and live a long and happy life.
How about YOU?
